Delray Beach Center for the Arts will launch the 2015-16 Entertainment Season today, October 2 with the opening of Free Friday Concerts at The Pavilion. The Center will take this opportunity to introduce new President/CEO Rob Steele to the community at large.

Comedy Central, in association with The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), announced today the addition of more than 50 shows to its 2015 line-up, which includes compelling and engaging panel discussions, classic stand-up, musical comedy and podcasts.

The Arts at Millersville University and Harrisburg native, jazz pianist and composer, Steve Rudolph will present The Jost Project with Special Guest Drummer Marko Marcinko as part of the Ware Center's popular Jazz in the Sky series in the Owen Salon overlooking Prince Street on Friday, October 9 at 7:30 PM. The band includes vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist/harmonist Paul Jost, and bassist Kevin MacConnell.  Devoted to presenting innovative arrangements of classic rock in a jazz format, The Jost Project plays the music of the 60's and 70's. According to Jazz in Europe, “The Jost Project is, without a doubt, one of the most creative bands I have heard in years.”

The New Group has announced complete casting for the world premiere of STEVE, a new play by Mark Gerrard.  Directed by Cynthia Nixon, this production features Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, and as announced, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon, Malcolm Gets and Matt McGrath. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays November 3 - December 27 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street), with Official Opening Night set for Wednesday, November 18.
