The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on August at 9 PM. This year Adele, Katy Perry and Kanye West lead the pack. Katy Perry has 9 nominations while Adele and Kanye West each have 7. Following the three front runners Bruno Mars has 4, Eminem, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, 30 Seconds to Mars and Nicki Minaj all have 3 and Foster the People, Manchester Orchestra, Tyler, the Creator, Britney Spears, the Beastie Boys, Chris Brown, Pitbull and Lil Wayne all have 2 nominations. Below is the full list of nominations. I'm glad Tyler, the Creator is getting some shine for his video for Yonkers.

Molina starred in the 2005 hit Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd and the Broadway production of ROCK OF AGES. Off-Broadway credits include, Henry, Sweet Henry (The York), Meet Me in St. Louis and Just So Stories (National Tour, Theatreworks/USA). Pianist Scott Bradlee enlisted the help of Molina, bassist Adam Kubota, and drummer Allan Mednard, put together a jazzy cover of Britney Spears' Till the World Ends. Check it out below!

Summerfest 2011 Opens At Henry Maier Festival Park 6/29-7/3, 7/5-10

Summerfest officials prepare for the World's Largest Music Festival to open in one week, which will bring over 850,000 music fans from around the world to Henry Maier Festival Park. Summerfest 2011 runs June 29 - July 3 and July 5 - 10.
