Everyone needs a little love. Good thing Joe's Pub has got a ton of it going on in the next couple of weeks. This weekend - Cathy Cervenka and Corn Mo host their annual Valentine's Day duet bonanza - Love Bites - on the 12th. Afterward, Xavier is back with his Ladies of Soul tribute, featuring Martha Redbone, Bright Light Bright Light, Anastacia McCleskey (of Waitress The Musical on Broadway), Toshi Reagon, Justin Johnston and Abena Koomson!

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, February 9th , Broadway Sessions puts the spotlight on Whole Artist Management and more -. Whole Artist Management clients schedule to perform include Hett Banrhill (Spider-Man), Andrew Aaron Berlin (A Christmas Story), Kennedy Caughell (Great Comet), Hannah DeFlumeri (Bullets Over Broadway), Alexa Green (Wicked), Amy Linden (Bridges of Madison County), Emily McNamara (Newsical), Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Monica Ramirez, Brian Charles Rooney (Three Penny Opera), Sheri Sanders (Rock the Audition), Samantha Shafer (Rocky), Christopher Timson (Young Frankenstein), Lily Tobin, Clyde Voce (Rock of Ages), Brit West (The Color Purple), Andrew Wheeler and Noah Zachary. - The evening will also feature performance from the upcoming Broadway Au Carre concert. featuring the music from Dana Levinson's 5th Republic sung by Lisandro Nesis and Manon Taris -Whole Artist Management is comprised of managers Rich Martino and Mike Cruz. Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). In THE WORLD ACCORDING TO KURT WEILL, one of the more than 20 shows put together to form the Winter Rhythms festival benefiting arts education, old met new and timeliness met timelessness. At Urban Stages on December 6, six skilled performers were assembled to interpret several of the most well-known songs of the composer Kurt Weill (who died in the year 1950), through the lens of the world as we see it in 2016. This meant that each song from shows such as ONE TOUCH OF VENUS or THREEPENNY OPERA was introduced with a framing device that was the statement of an accurate and modern headline or situation ("The Refugee Crisis in Syria Worsens," "Donald Trump Wins the Election in Shocking Upset").
