Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) production of Clifford Odets' The Big Knife will conclude its limited engagement today, June 2, 2013 at 2:00PM. The Big Knife, directed by Doug Hughes, features Rachel Brosnahan, Bobby Cannavale, Marin Ireland, Billy Eugene, Richard Kind, Ana Reeder, Reg Rogers, Joey Slotnick, Brenda Wehle, C.J. Wilson and Chip Zien.

Second Stage Theatre's Spring Gala celebration honored The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation, which has been an ongoing supporter of New York City arts and Second Stage Theatre for many years, as well as playwright and filmmaker Paul Weitz, whose plays Privilege, Show People, Trust, and Lonely, I'm Nothave all premiered with the off-Broadway company. The evening will also celebrate the first ten years of Second Stage Uptown and its curator, Christopher Burney, which has become an incubator for many theatre artists in the past decade. The gala was held last night, May 20, 2013 at Best Buy Theatre, 1515 Broadway at 44th street.

The Drama League has announced Emmy Award winner Debra Messing will join Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce as co-host of the 79th Annual Drama League Awards. One of the high points of the theater season, the Awards Luncheon will be held Friday afternoon, May 17th at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway) at noon.

Waterwell announces the addition of Kyra Sedgwick, Bobby Cannavale and Stephen Adly Guirgis to its roster of Master Class Artist's for the company's inaugural Summer Theater Lab. They join the previously announced Megan Hilty (Smash), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) and Beau Willimon (House of Cards). Faculty and commissioned artists will be announced shortly.
