COACHELLA VALLEY REPERTORY announces its 2023 SUMMER CABARET SERIES, presented in CVRep's casual, intimate setting every Thursday evening from May 4 through August 24. Each performer is a captivating storyteller, using music, personal experiences, and passions to take audiences on memorable journeys.

Teen idols Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello returned to the big screen for a new surf-and-sand adventure with the hip, hilarious 80s update BACK TO THE BEACH. Newly remastered from a new 4K scan of the original film elements, BACK TO THE BEACH is a fan-favorite cult classic that lovingly parodies the quintessential 60s “beach party” films.  

The Princeton Renaissance Theater is aiming to reopen its doors in 2021. The theater will focus on showing movies and hosting performing arts events. There will also be a black box theater for smaller shows, a museum dedicated to the late Bob Denver, and a satellite station for Little Buddy Radio.

An estimated 150 fans camped out in front of the Funco Store on Hollywood Blvd to be on hand to help celebrate the careers of SID & MARTY KROFFT with a star on the world famous Hollywood Walk of Stars.

Audiences at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will once again have the chance to see some of their favorite characters come to life on the stage as the theatre sets sail for laughter as it presents the area premiere of Gilligan's Island - The Musical.

Russell Johnson, who portrayed Professor Roy Hinkley on three seasons of the CBS comedy GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, has passed away of natural causes at the age of 89.
