The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) today proudly announced that Barry Frank, one of the most well-known and influential sports program content creators, television rights negotiators and the talent representative of some of the greatest television sports broadcasters, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Sports this year at the 39th Sports Emmy® Awards.

NBC Olympics' figure skating commentating trio of Tara Lipinski, Johnny Weir, and Terry Gannon will host NBC's primetime coverage of the Closing Ceremony for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, it was announced today by Jim Bell, President, NBC Olympics Production and Programming. Coverage begins in primetime, Sunday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC.

NBCUniversal will present more than 2,400 hours of coverage of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games from PyeongChang, South Korea, across NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, USA Network, NBCOlympics.com, and the NBC Sports app. The 2,400 hours are the most ever for a Winter Olympics.
