15 years after it closed on Broadway and after the box-office success of the recent West End revival, MISS SAIGON is finally making a comeback early next year. Producer Cameron Mackintosh is bringing back this legendary musical to the Great White Way together with an exciting new cast led by Jon Jon Briones (The Engineer), Alistair Brammer (Chris), Rachelle Ann Go (Gigi), Devin Ilaw (Thuy), Katie Rose Clarke (Ellen), Nicholas Christopher (John), and Eva Noblezada (Kim).

Prior to its limited release at select SM Cinemas across the Philippines this weekend, MISS SAIGON 25th-anniversary performance in cinemas had a special advance screening at the Director's Club Cinema, S Maison-Mall of Asia last Wednesday, November 9. MISS SAIGON Australia's original star Joanna Ampil and producer Cameron Mackintosh's representative in Manila Dong Alegre graced the occasion.

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary musical MISS SAIGON, recorded live in London's West End, plus an epic finale featuring special appearances from original cast members Jonathan Pryce, Lea Salonga, and Simon Bowman, among others, when it comes to select SM Cinemas across the Philippines on Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13, only.

Just announced, Alistair Brammer will reprise his acclaimed West End performance as the young American GI 'Chris' in Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Boublil and Schönberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon, which begins performances Wednesday, March 1 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway).

Katie Rosie Clarke (as Ellen) and Nicholas Christopher (as John) are the latest additions to the the cast of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON, which begins performances Wednesday, March 1 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Directed by Laurence Connor (LES MISERABLES, School of Rock), the Broadway return of MISS SAIGON will feature its American stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and 20-year-old Eva Noblezada as Kim, who created their roles in the West End to great acclaim. Rachelle Ann Goand Devin Ilaw have also recently joined the cast, as Gigi and Thuy. The lead male role of Chris will be announced later this month. Opening night for MISS SAIGON will be Thursday, March 23. MISS SAIGON will play a limited engagement throughJanuary 14, 2018 before launching a North American tour later in the year.

FACES by FALLIN opened last evening at The Ateleir, 635 West 42nd Street, and will run through 2016. The exhibit features original pen & ink drawings, as well as prints of famous faces from the World of Entertainment. Check out photos of some of the original works from the exhibit below!

Cameron Mackintosh announced today that his acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON - a recent smash hit in the West End - will embark on a major UK tour opening at Curve Leicester from Monday 3 July - Saturday 22 July 2017 (press night Wednesday 12 July 2017) before playing Birmingham Hippodrome (26 July - 23 September 2017), Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Dublin (Wednesday 4 October to Saturday 18 November), Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff (29 November 2017 - 6 January 2018), Festival Theatre Edinburgh (17 January - 17 February 2018) and Mayflower Southampton (21 February - 17 March 2018). On Friday, July 29, the cast of the 2016 Hollywood Bowl production of A CHORUS LINE met members of the original 1975 Broadway cast backstage. The cast includes Mario Lopez as Zach, Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson, Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, and Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich. A Chorus Line also stars Sabrina Bryan as Valerie Clark, Robert Fairchild as Mike Costa, Spencer Liff as Larry, and Ross Lynch as Mark Anthony. In addition,Mara Davi as Maggie Winslow, J. Elaine Marcos as Connie Wong, Jason Tam as Paul San Marco, and Leigh Zimmerman as Sheila Bryant round out the principal cast.

To any A CHORUS LINE aficionado, the mere mention of Baayork Lee will conjure up vivid memories of the original Connie Wong - the youthful-looking, 4'10' Asian-American, perky dynamo who repeatedly evaded revealing her biological age to Zach, the interviewing choreographer. Now in 2016, Baayork will be choreographing and directing her most recent production of A CHORUS LINE at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

This week A Chorus Line at the Stratford Festival confirmed what I've already long suspected: Donna Feore is one of the greatest directors of musicals of our time. Year after year she has managed to put out a top notch main stage musical for the festival as good as anything you'll see on Broadway, Toronto, or the West End.
