Summer On the Hudson (SOH), one of New York City's largest free summer festivals, opens its Tenth Anniversary Season Sunday, May 2, at Riverside Park South with the Irish Arts Center's 9th Annual all-day New York City Irish Dance Festival.

The Providence Performing Arts Center will end its run of A BRONX TALE, written by and starring Chazz Palminteri, at the Theatre from Sunday, April 18, as part of the Inskip Lexus Contemporary Classics Series.

Tickets to the Vineyard Theatre's world-premiere production of THE METAL CHILDREN, written and directed by Adam Rapp, will go on sale on Thursday, April 15 prior to the beginning of previews on May 5 and the official opening on May 19 of the play at the Vineyard (108 E. 15 St.) in Manhattan.

Olney Theatre Center's acclaimed production of Bus Stop has been extended to March 21. Noted director/actor/writer Austin Pendleton has directed "a glowing production" of Bus Stop, according to The Washington Post. The Gazette says Olney's staging of the play is "worth checking out."
