The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) will honor three outstanding theatre luminaries at this year's 79th Annual Drama League Awards set for Friday afternoon, May 17, 2013 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway).

Summertime Entertainment has inked a deal with Clarius Entertainment for a wide theatrical release, with significant prints & advertising support in the U.S. and Canada, for the 3-D animated musical film "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return." The release date will be slated for 1stquarter of 2014. As part of the pact, Home Entertainment will be provided by a major studio partner, with sub-distribution rights handled by others. The company is beginning discussions for international distribution for the film, which had a prior working title "Dorothy of Oz."

HUNTER RYAN HERDLICKA will soon make his 54 Below debut after almost two years starring on Broadway in the Tony Award Winning revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, playing opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, followed by Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch. On Monday, March 25 (7:00pm), Hunter will perform his new show 'You Make Me Feel So Young' that recently played to sold-out crowds at the Austin Cabaret Theatre in Austin, TX. Musical Director is Larry Yurman. Expect to hear Sondheim, Comden and Green, Rodgers and Hart, Jerry Herman, and more, as Hunter tells his story from growing up in Dallas, to pursuing his dreams on the Great White Way.

Sunnyside Films and Windrider Entertainment present the brand new web series "80/20" co-created, written and starring Vayu O'Donnell (Golden Boy, Man and Boy) and Christopher Oscar Peña with music by Evan Olson, whose music has been featured on "Sex And The City," "Law & Order," "Ugly Betty," "Friday Night Lights" and MTV's "The Hills." The web series has been accepted into LAWEBFEST, which will take place later this month as well as the New Media Film Festival which will take place in June.

Delaware Theatre Company has announced the cast of Daryl Roth's presentation of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, coming to the DTC stage this month.

The Actors Fund held a benefit reading of the American classic Our Town last night, March 4, at The Gerald R. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College (524 West 59th Street). Tony Winners Blythe Danner, BD Wong and two-time Tony Award nominee S. Epatha Merkerson shared the role of the Stage Manager for this one night benefit.

At last night's Theatre Development Fund Gala, they celebrated the 40th Anniversary of TDF's TKTS Booth in Times Square - which first opened on June 25, 1973, and honoring The Shubert Organization's Chairman and Co-CEO, PHILIP J. SMITH who was involved with the founding of TKTS.
