Ariel Nichole Reid*, Ben Williams* (Clubbed Thumb, La Mama, EST), Craig Wesley Divino* (Fault Line Theatre) and Ryan Salvato (Speakeasy Dollhouse's 'Ziegfeld's Midnight Frolic') are set to appear in the world-premiere production of Jim Knable's DESTINY AND THE LITTLE MAN, an adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's THE MAN OF DESTINY.

'Nightcap Riot: Mombucha' encompasses a concert, beverage tasting/'brewtorial,' and full theatrical production of the JIm Knable's world-premiere adapatation of George Bernard Shaw's 'The Man of Destiny' titled 'Destiny and the Little Man,' directed by Bruce Levitt. Only 50 people per night are allowed admission to this experience, which runs from January 15th - February 14th, 2016 over 16 performances. 15 different bands, 5 comedians, magicians, a mixologist from Union Square Hospitality and a kombucha brewer make up the balance of the greater Nightcap Riot: Mombucha cast. 

Assembling a stellar cast of rising stars in the worlds of R&B, funk, soul, jazz and classical, Thelonious Monk Competition Winner and Grammy Award-winning bassist Ben Williams pays tribute to the musical legacy of Prince at Harlem Stage, December 11 and 12. Drawing inspiration from his iconic discography, Dearly Beloved - The Music of Prince will feature newly imagined arrangements and compositions that celebrate the virtuosity of Prince with a wide range of special guests including vocalists Goapele, Frank McComb and Christie Dashiell, tap dancer/choreographer Jason Samuels Smith, poet/emcee/vocalist W. Ellington Felton and additional surprise guests. A guest DJ will spin for the pre-performance mixer and after-party. As a preview to the December 12 performance of Dearly Beloved - The Music of Prince, Harlem Stage will present an intimate conversation with Ben Williams. He'll share his creative process forDearly Beloved and discuss the art of re-imagining and arranging works of famous artists.

FONDLY, COLLETTE RICHLAND began previews on Friday, September 11, 2015 and officially opened on Monday, September 28, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003), and will now run through Saturday, October 24 2015. In an unprecedented series of events worldwide on April 30 th, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz joined together to celebrate and recognize jazz as a vehicle for freedom of expression and dialogue between cultures.

The Public Theater announced a two-week extension today for Elevator Repair Service's acclaimed THE SOUND AND THE FURY. Directed by John Collins, THE SOUND AND THE FURY begins performances in The Public's Martinson Theater on Thursday, May 14 with an official press opening on Thursday, May 21. The show will now run an additional two weeks through Saturday, June 27. THE SOUND AND THE FURY will mark the third collaboration between The Public and Elevator Repair Service, having previously presented Gatz and Arguendo.

Four talented emerging playwrights of color - members of the 2015 INKtank Playwrights Lab - will unveil their exciting new works when Rising Circle Theater Collective presents its 6th annual PlayRISE Festival, a series of staged readings featuring two-time Tony Award nominee Mary Testa (On the Town, 42nd Street), Henry Yuk (Awake & Sing), Tia James (The Public's The Merchant of Venice), and Frankie J. Alvarez (HBO's "Looking"), February 25th to 28th in the Penthouse at Shetler Studios on W. 54th Street.
