The PATH Fund's 22nd annual ROCKERS ON BROADWAY 80's REWIND was just held last night, honoring 80's Pop Princess, Debbie Gibson with the Rockers Lifetime Achievement Award and May Pang with the Rockers Ambassador of Rock Award. ROCKERS ON BROADWAY is a fun and unique charity concert that featured Broadway's best rockers performing the biggest hits in 80's Rock n' Roll. Proceeds from the evening benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BCEFA) and non-profit performing arts education programs.

This Thursday, October 29th, Broadway Sessions offers Elpha-Ball. The evening will feature a coven of ladies who have starred as Elphaba in the smash hit musical, Wicked, in various productions. Scheduled to perform are Teal Wicks, Christine Dwyer, Anne Brummel, Emily Koch, Laurel Harris, Jennifer DiNoia and more.
Theatre Development Fund Awarded $35,000 Grant for Phase II of 'Triple Play'

Theatre Development Fund (TDF) and Theatre Bay Area (TBA) are pleased to announce that they have received a grant in the amount of $35,000 from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation's Fund for National Projects in support of Phase II of their consortium project, Triple Play. Triple Play explores the crucial relationship between playwrights and other generative artists, theatres and audiences. This exploration aspires to create a paradigm shift in the way the field thinks about audiences and the way audiences experience new work, and in so doing will increase audience appetite for new work and help to restore theatre's relevance as a national art form.
