Don McLean, one of America's best-known singer-songwriters, interviewed by producer Ed Freeman and musician Jake Bugg, whose musical path was initiated when hearing 'Vincent' for the first time on the TV, is featured in the BBC Classic Album Series titled, Don McLean: American Pie this weekend. The program also highlights a poignant archive performance of George Michaelsinging McLean's 'The Grave'.

The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) has returned from a triumphant tour across the UK and Europe, where it performed a total of seven concerts in six cities. This included concerts in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls including London's Royal Festival Hall and Vienna's Wiener Konzerthaus, and concluded with a special performance at Buckingham Palace, at an event held in the ACO's honour, hosted by His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales.

Australian Chamber Orchestra Announce London Residency with Barbican Centre

The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) has today announced it will commence a three-year residency as International Associate Ensemble at Milton Court in partnership with the Barbican Centre from the 2018/19 season. This residency at one of Europe's most prestigious concert venues follows on from the success of ACO Artistic Director Richard Tognetti's time as the Barbican's first ever Artist-in-Residence at Milton Court Concert Hall in the Barbican Presents 2016/17 season.

This multidimensional, multiperceptual program of the composer's music is presented in three concerts on Friday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College.
