Miller, who is the first historian in more than thirty years to focus his three award-winning nonfiction books on Hoover's WWI efforts in German-occupied Belgium.

On November 6, 2019, The New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 26th Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza. In addition to Mark Morris, this year's honorees are Carole Bailey French, Ted Mathas, H. Carl McCall, Emily K. Rafferty and Barbara & Donald Tober. The following previous honorees will also be involved: David Patrick Columbia as host, Peter Duchin and his Orchestra will provide entertainment, and Liz & Jeff Peek and Patsy & Jeff Tarr as Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening. More than 500 guests are expected to attend this 26th annual tribute.

New Book About Band Of 'Yanks' In WWI Garners National Recognition

The new nonfiction book, 'WWI Crusaders: A band of Yanks in German-occupied Belgium help save millions from starvation as civilians resist the harsh German rule' (ISBN: 978-0990689386), is one of only 100 self-published books named to the prestigious Kirkus Reviews Best Books of 2018. Authored by Jeffrey B. Miller and published by Milbrown Press, it was released on Veterans Day 2018 to honor the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

On November 1, 2018, The New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 25th Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza.  In addition to Chita Rivera, this year's honorees are Stephen S. Lash, Lynden B. Miller, Liz & Jeffrey Peek, Thomas Sculco MD, Ruth Lande Shuman, Michael I. Sovern and Peter Stangl.  The host for the evening is Living Landmark David Patrick Columbia, and music will be provided by Living Landmark Peter Duchin and his Orchestra.  Living Landmarks Arie L. Kopelman and Leonard Lauder are Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening.  More than 500 guests are expected to attend this 25th annual tribute.

Incubus, Sublime with Rome and Fitz and the Tantrums were recently announced as the headliners for the inaugural SandJam Fest Presented by Pepsi adult-alternative rock music festival in beautiful Panama City Beach. This morning organizers announced an additional 20 acts will join the headliners and already announced Kaleo, St. Lucia and Capital Cities on the sugar-white sand at M. B. Miller Pier April 26-28, 2018.

Rock music fans were excited to hear about the new SandJam Presented by Pepsi, Fueled by Circle K in beautiful Panama City Beach, and the wait is over for the exciting headliners. Incubus, Sublime with Rome and Fitz & The Tantrums are confirmed to hit the stage, set right on the sugar-white sand at M. B. Miller Pier, April 26-28, 2018. Kaleo, St. Lucia and Capital Cities are also scheduled to perform, and another 20 acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
