TRIP OF LOVE, the new dance musical spectacle celebrating the biggest hits of the '60s, officially opens on October 18, at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd St). American pop culture is still pulsing with the psychedelic energy of the Sixties, an era of expression and revolution around the world. The music told the story then and it will again this fall as Trip of Love brings the decade to life with 28 of the biggest hits of the '60s, including 'Blowin' In The Wind,' 'Born To Be Wild,' 'California Dreamin',' 'I Saw Her Standing There,' 'These Boots Are Made For Walkin',' 'White Rabbit,' 'You Don't Own Me' and many more.

TRIP OF LOVE, the new dance musical spectacle celebrating the biggest hits of the '60s, will be grooving through the Autumnal Equinox and continuing the summer of love by offering $19.60 tickets to all preview performances.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced open auditions for the award-winning Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir.

Tickets are now on sale via Audience Rewards for TRIP OF LOVE, a new dance musical spectacle inspired by and set to the biggest hit songs of the 1960s. Created, directed and choreographed by James Walski, TRIP OF LOVE will open this fall at Stage 42, formerly The Little Shubert Theater (422 West 42nd St). TRIP OF LOVE begins previews on Saturday, September 26 2015, and officially opens on October 18, 2015. The exclusive Audience Rewards pre-sale begins today, July 23, and goes through Sunday, July 26. The 13th Street Rep's 'Carol Channing Award'-honoring a rising young actor whose talent, attitude, and work ethic reflects the high standards set by the legendary Channing-has been presented to Danny Coelho. The youngest member of the theater's repertory company, Coelho, 17, was prominently featured in the musical comedy 'Theater Boys,' and will be featured next in the theater's production of 'Mad About the Boy,' set to open in early 2015. He's also been featured in the Paper Mill Playhouse Show Choir, run by Shayne Austin Miller and John Zeitun.

The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center's production of Mel Brooks' hilarious musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will play April 19 - May 25 with performances on Friday and Today at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Paper Mill Playhouse has just announced the creation of The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir. The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir is a tuition-free, audition based, performance show choir that stems from Paper Mill Playhouse's award-winning Arts Education and Outreach programs. The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir will act as ambassadors to Paper Mill Playhouse with an array of performance opportunities throughout the community and beyond. The choir will consist of 18 to 24 singer/dancers between the ages of 16 and 22. Auditions for this special ensemble will take place at Paper Mill Playhouse, 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn, NJ on Wednesday, February 6th at 8:30pm. Age appropriate students auditioning for Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Musical Theater Conservatory will have the option to be considered for the show choir at their scheduled audition. Call-back auditions will be held on Paper Mill's campus on Sunday, February 10th at 8:00pm.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) celebrated the 40th anniversary of the founding of its Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) with the kickoff of the recently formed HSMT Alumni Association. Graduates and supporters of the HSMT program from the past four decades joined for an evening of celebration and reunion as they mixed and mingled amidst the backdrop of the HSMT rehearsal rooms, complete with wine and hors d'oeuvres from City Kitchen.

If you like your JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT's straight up (no chaser), then the current production playing The Muny may not be your cup of tea. But, if you like it when they give the show a St. Louis twist, then this is your type of musical. I've seen enough productions of this particular show to want something a little different myself, so I was completely charmed by the Muny's take of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's work.
