Two works new to English National Ballet's repertoire, Sir Kenneth MacMillan's masterwork, Song of the Earth and August Bournonville's La Sylphide recreated by Frank Andersen and Eva Kloborg, will be performed at the Manchester Palace Theatre from 11 14 October.

Lillyhave announced additional instructors - repetiteurs - rounding out what is sure to be an extraordinary opportunity for advanced students and aspiring professionals to learn and perform roles from the classical ballet repertory of the Bolshoi Ballet, the world's most acclaimed ballet company.
San Francisco Ballet Announces 2017-18 Season Company Members

San Francisco Ballet announces ten promotions, eight new Company members, and six apprentices for the 2017-18 Season. Soloist Jennifer Stahl has been promoted to principal dancer, and Isabella DeVivo, Jahna Frantziskonis, Esteban Hernandez, and Steven Morse have been promoted to soloist. In addition, SF Ballet Apprentices Alexandre Cagnat, Shene Lazarus, Davide Occhipinti, Nathaniel Remez, and Isabella Walsh have been promoted to the corps de ballet. Ulrik Birkkjaer and Ana Sophia Scheller join the Company as principal dancers and Solomon Golding, Gabriela Gonzalez, Blake Johnston, Madison Keesler, Wona Park, and Joseph Warton have joined SF Ballet as corps de ballet members. Ethan Chudnow, Anatalia Hordov, Carmela Mayo, Swane Messaoudi, Larisa Nugent, and Benjamin Pearson of San Francisco Ballet School have been promoted to the rank of apprentice.
Eglevsky Ballet Announces Student Workshop Performance 6/8

Executive Artistic Director Maurice Brandon Curry has announced details for the Eglevsky Ballet's Annual Student Workshop Performance to be held at The Olmstead Theater at Adelphi University on June 8 at 6:30 p.m. This year's Student Workshop will include world premiere works choreographed by Patrick Frenette, Christopher Huggins and Morgan McEwen. The event will also feature works choreographed by members of the Eglevsky Ballet Academy resident faculty.

Russell Janzen and More Promoted at New York City Ballet

New York City Ballet announced today the promotion of eight of the Company's dancers. Soloist Russell Janzen has been promoted to the rank of principal dancer, and corps de ballet members Sara Adams, Harrison Ball, Emilie Gerrity, Joseph Gordon, Unity Phelan, Troy Schumacher, and Indiana Woodward have been promoted to Soloist.
