Nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.

GLEE PROJECT Likely to Return for Second Season

After nine weeks of grueling competition, the surprising finale episode of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project' charged the four finalists with their definitive 'Glee'-inspired homework assignment of 'Glee-ality,' performing Journey's epic hit 'Don't Stop Believin'.' Now according to published reports, the show will likely return for a second season, but before fall casting calls occur, GLEE itself must first be renewed for a fourth season to guarantee a prize for the contestants.

After nine weeks of grueling competition, last night's surprising finale episode of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project' charged the four finalists with their definitive 'Glee'-inspired homework assignment of 'Glee-ality,' performing Journey's epic hit 'Don't Stop Believin'.' The final episode turned into an emotional reunion as the eight eliminated contenders and previous 'Glee' guest mentors returned in support of the four finalists. All 12 contenders joined forces one last time to create a celebratory yet bittersweet music video shoot to end the season. The contenders performed Pink's triumphant 'Raise Your Glass,' in dramatic fashion atop a high-rise building overlooking downtown Los Angeles.

Chicago Sun-Times critic Paige Wiser, the television critic who wrote the paper's review for GLEE LIVE!, has been ousted from the paper. Wiser's review - which included information one song that wasn't performed and another that she didn't see, according to the Chicago Tribune - was so inaccurate that it drew notice almost immediately and was removed from the paper's website altogether.

The Glee Live! In Concert! tour in North America began on Friday, May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas and will wrap up the North American leg on June 18th in Uniondale, NY at the Nassau Coliseum. The Gleeks have completed their performances in California and have landed in Minneapolis for their performance at the Target Center tonight. Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy and Twentieth Century Fox Television have announced that Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes), Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson), and members of the Dalton Academy Warblers will join the thirteen cast members of GLEE initially scheduled to perform during the UK tour this summer, according to NewsQuod.com.
