Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, which also houses the US Center of the International Theatre Institute (ITI-US), invites all theatres, individual artists, institutions and audiences to celebrate the 49th annual World Theatre Day on March 27, 2011.

The Vagabond Players presents Arthur Miller's masterpiece, Death of a Salesman. The issues Miller and Willy Loman grappled with sixty years ago are still prevalent today. The production, directed by Michael B. Zemarel, closes March 27.

Michael Greif, who directed the world premiere at the Guthrie in April 2009, directs the New York premiere, which opens on Thursday, May 5 and runs through June 12.

Intiman Theatre Artistic Director Kate Whoriskey announces a production shift in the previously announced 2011 Season. A Boy and His Soul, written and performed by Tony Award-nominated Colman Domingo and directed by Tony Kelly, will replace The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
