The 2010 Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with Spring Awakening, Enron, Jerusalem and A Little Night Music among the standouts of the season with the most nominations. The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984. The Awards are run by The Society of London Theatre but are adjudicated by panels that are equally made up of members of the theatregoing public and experts chosen for their knowledge and professional experience. The upcoming Broadway production of Lucy Prebble's critically acclaimed play ENRON, directed by Rupert Goold, is proud to welcome actors JORDAN BALLARD (Hairspray), BRANDON J. DIRDEN (Prelude to a Kiss), ANTHONY HOLDS (Spamalot, Pal Joey), TY JONES (Judgment at Nuremberg, Henry IV, Julius Caesar), TOM NELIS (The Caine Mutiny Court Martial, Aida), JEFF SKOWRON (The Lion King, High Society), LUSIA STRUS (the upcoming untitled Gus Van Sant project), BEN HARTLEY (Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid) and ELLYN MARIE MARSH to the company.

London's Royal Court Theatre has announced the full cast for their upcoming production of Laura Wade's new play, POSH. The production will be the world premiere for the play and will run April 15th through May 22nd.

Marin Mazzie has just been announced as joining the cast of the upcoming Broadway production of ENRON, starring as VP Claudia Roe.

The New York Times reports that Gregory Itzin, most famous for his portrayal of Charles Logan in Fox's hit series '24,' will join the previously announced Norbert Leo Butz (as 'Jeffrey Skilling'), Stephen Kunken (as 'Andy Fastow') in the upcoming Broadway production of Lucy Prebble's 'Enron.' Itzin will portray disgraced Enron chairman Kenneth Lay.

The upcoming Broadway production of Lucy Prebble's critically acclaimed play ENRON, directed by Rupert Goold, has announced that Noah Weisberg, Rightor Doyle, Ian Kahn, Mary Stewart Sullivan, Madisyn Shipman and January LaVoy have joined the company.

Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominee Stephen Kunken, best known for his celebrated portrayal of James Reston in Frost/Nixon on Broadway, will assume the mantle of a particularly less honorable historical figure when he takes on the role of disgraced ENRON Chief Financial Officer Andy Fastow in Lucy Prebble's critically acclaimed play ENRON.

The Times Online profiles writer Lucy Prebble whose play 'Enron' has achieved critical acclaim and is now Broadway-bound. 'Enron' had its premiere in Chichester, has since transferred to the West End's Noel Coward Theatre, and is now up on the marquee awaiting the start of its Broadway previews slated for April 2010 - and all within the span of one year.

A new promotional photo from the West End's production of the play ENRON has appeared in a new Vanity Fair feature. Inspired by the real-life financial scandal of 2001, ENRON, which was commissioned by Headlong Theatre, premiered this past summer at the Minerva Theatre Chichester, and then moved for a six-week run at The Royal Court Theatre where it played through November 8, 2009. The play will open at West End's Noel Coward Theatre later this month.

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye is reporting today that Kerry Eliis is confirmed to replace Jody Prenger in the West End production of Oliver!, now playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. She plays opposite Omid Djalili as Fagin, with Griff Rhys set to take over the role on 14 December, 2009.

ENRON, written by Lucy Prebble, recently began a six-week run at London's Royal Court Theatre on September 17 and will move to the West End's Noel Coward Theatre on January 16, prior to an official opening Jan. 26, 2010. It will replace the soon-to-close CALENDAR GIRLS. The New York Times is reporting that the production will move to Broadway at a Shubert Theater to be determined in April 2010. The Broadway transfer will be produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Matthew Byam Shaw, Act Productions, Caro Newling for Neal St. Productions and the Shubert Organization.
