Last week, Broadway Dreams hosted a star-studded musical theatre master class and summer intensive.  The annual weeklong intensive welcomed aspiring young performers from throughout New York to embark on a rigorous week of Broadway-caliber training -focusing on acting, vocal performance and dance - learning from the brightest and best industry professionals. 

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis) and the Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) have announced the return of the annual Broadway Dreams Summer Intensive being held June 18 - 25, 2017 at The Wallis in Beverly Hills, as well as its talented musical theater faculty lineup comprised of Broadway performers, directors and casting directors.

This week, Broadway Dreams will workshop and present a staged reading of the new musical Mary & Max at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Through an integrated partnership between the not-for-profit performing arts training program and the musical's creators, Broadway Dreams students and faculty will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the process of creating a new musical.

Broadway Dreams and writer Drew Fornarola (STRAIGHT, Claudio Quest) will team up to present an evening of songs from Fornarola's musicals at the beautiful new Green Room 42 on 42nd Street. The event will be held on June 12th at 8pm and will help kick off the Broadway Dreams New York City Musical Theatre Intensive. Tickets are $20.

Through an unprecedented collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Moscow, the U.S. Department of State, Broadway Moscow, and Stage Entertainment Russia, the not-for-profit performing arts education organization offered master class program in Moscow from March 29 through April 11. See all the great photos from the trip below!

Broadway Dreams is going global, bringing its acclaimed brand of musical theatre intensives to Russia and Brazil for a second groundbreaking year. 

January 10, 2017 - Founder and Executive Artistic Director Benjamin Davis is thrilled to announce that submissions are open and rolling in for the Second Annual Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF), to be held in August in Atlanta. Performances will be open to the artistic community, the public, and the press. Submissions are being accepted now for work to be presented at the festival (details below). The deadline to submit is February 14, 2017. Selections will be announced April 1, 2017. Tickets to the Festival will go on sale in spring 2017.

In each location, the premier non-profit performing arts training program will present an incredible roster of Broadway directors, performers, and industry insiders who will offer highly personalized musical theatre training and mentoring through unique, week-long performing arts intensive workshops for students of all ages, skill levels, and socio- economic backgrounds.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) is bringing its unique brand of Broadway master class intensives to Russia, marking the first time in the country's history that Broadway professionals will offer programming of this kind. The renowned non-profit performing arts education organization is traveling a team of Broadway professionals to Moscow to offer a 10-day program for 60 professional and aspiring Russian performers, now through tomorrow, April 19, 2016. The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills has forged a partnership with the Broadway Dreams Foundation to present 'GENERAT10N: The 2016 Summer Intensive Tour' for aspiring musical theater artists from the Los Angeles region from June 19 - 26.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF), a premier non-profit organization dedicated to training, mentoring and providing career opportunities to the next generation of musical theater performers, announced that Victoria T. Morris, CEO of Lexikat Artists; Bruce Daitch, Head of Strategy, Planning and Operations for DreamWorks SKG; and Nanci Lewis, of The Vanderblue Team, have been elected to the BDF's Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2016.
