Last Sunday, December 7th at Joe's Pub, 'A Better Holiday' concert was held to benefit the It Gets Better Project. The event featured stars of Broadway and television singing songs of the season. Scroll down for photos!

The highly anticipated film INTO THE WOODS had its premiere last night, December 8th at New York's City's Ziegfeld Theatre. The film hits theaters on December 25th, is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present THE SONGS OF F. MICHAEL HAYNIE featuring Andy Mientus (Les Miserables, "SMASH"), Alex Brightman (Matilda, Big Fish), Jason Gotay (Bring It On, "Peter Pan LIVE!"), and more on Friday, January 23rd at 11:30pm.

On December 7th, Joe's Pub at The Public will play host to some of the brightest talent on Broadway and television. An incredible cast will come together for a festive concert benefitting the It Gets Better Project, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Andy Mientus, who currently plays 'Marius' in LES MISERABLES on Broadway, will soon make an appearance on the small screen as 'Pied Piper' in CW's THE FLASH. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Mientus will be out of the show October 23 through November 18 to film the series. During that time, the role will be played by understudies Chris McCarrell (October 23-November 2) and Matt Rosell (November 4-18).

Following the success of Titanic earlier this year, and Ragtime in 2013, Manhattan Concert Productions will bring the Drama Desk and TONY Award-winning score of Parade back to Lincoln Center, where it all began in 1998. This concert performance of Parade will feature a chorus of over 200 singers from the across the United States; the enlarged forces of the New York City Chamber Orchestra; and a full professional Broadway cast.
