The Torch-Bearers by George Kelly was the third production. Tony-nominated stage and screen actor Dylan Baker (November, Mauritius, Revolutionary Road) adapted and directed this production which played from July 29 through August 9.

Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Workshop and Summer Intensive (Session Two). Foster also taught a master class on song interpretation during the Summer Intensive (Session One).

The Second City - the timeless producer of improvisational based comedy - celebrates its milestone 50th Anniversary this fall with a series of events and happenings that will bring together alumni, recreate renowned sketches and characters, and bring the history of the theatre to life. Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Nicholas Martin has announced the cast of the final Nikos Stage show of the 2009 season, Caroline in Jersey by Melinda Lopez (Sonia Flew, Alexandros) and directed by Amanda Charlton (WTF Artistic Associate, Dissonance) playing August 5-16.
