MAN OF LA MANCHA Opens Season At Wayside Theatre Runs 6/6-7/4

Wayside Theatre Artistic Director Warner Crocker announced the 2009-2010 Season Opener, cast and performance schedule, Man of La Mancha. Man of La Mancha runs June 6 through July 4th. The musical is written by Dale Wasserman, Music by Mitch Leigh and Lyrics by Joe Darion.

DCA Premieres 2nd Production Of GIRLS ONLY Thru 5/10

Denver Center Attractions (DCA) has announced the premiere of the second production of GIRLS ONLY - The Secret Comedy of Women, in Des Moines, IA, as well as schedule changes for the ongoing Denver run of the show at the Garner Galleria Theatre. Des Moines, IA Premiere. DCA is proud to be partnering with the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines to produce a second production of GIRLS ONLY. The comedy's Iowa premiere will take place next month at the Civic Center's Temple Theater on March 18, 2009 as part of the Prairie Meadows Temple Theater Series. The show is scheduled to run through May 10, 2009, and tickets are available online at CivicCenter.org or by calling 515.246.2300.

La Mirada Theatre For the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment are thrilled to present the fifth and final production of La Mirada Theatre?s 2008-2009 season of shows, the West Coast Premiere of a new and completely revised production of Ring of Fire, created by Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr., conceived by William Meade, orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby, choreography by Jane Lanier and directed by and starring one of the original cast members from the Broadway production, Jason Edwards. Ring of Fire will begin performances on Friday, June 5 and will run through Sunday, June 21 at La Mirada Theatre For the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada, near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue.

Bluebarn Theater Revives 2001 Award Winning Play WIT 3/19

To help celebrate our 20th season, BLUEBARN THEATRE will revive our 2001 award-winning play, Wit, which opens March 19 and runs through April 11, 2009. BLUEBARN founding member, Kevin Lawler, returns to direct the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, with Phyllis Doughman recreating the role that won her rave reviews, as well as a Theatre Arts Guild Award for Best Actress.
