Susan Anton, Barrett Foa, Loretta Devine, Allison Janney and Andrea Marcovicci are among the galaxy of Broadway, Film, and Television stars lending their talents to the 32nd annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (STAGE), Sondheim No. 5, with two performances on Saturday, June 18th at the beautiful Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.  David Galligan directs with Michael Orland as Music Director.  Performances will be at 2:00pm and 8:00pm.

Open Doors Productions & Theatricals will present Alvin Ing (original Broadway 1976 & 2004 Pacific Overtures, 2002 Flower Drum Song. 2014 The Gambler with Mark Wahlberg) in his new cabaret for one night only, THE ING AND OUT OF ALVIN - THE JOURNEY OF A COCKEYED OPTIMIST, written and directed by Lainie Sakakura.

On Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science some of Hollywood and Broadway's finest gathered to honor and remember Paul Ainsley, who passed away on January 20, 2013. The afternoon was not a memorial as much as it was a celebration - a roast - a closing night party. It was an event that would have had partying right next to all his friends. And what 'A Grand Night for Singing' it turned out to be! Not opening on the usual note, Bruce Kimmel presented a video of his YouTube web series Outside the Box, Season 2, episode 1 guest starring Hal Linden, who was present in the audience. Hilarity is at the core here as Linden gets a phone call asking him to appear as Father Marren in The Exorcist the Musical, a true horror - no, not horrible - horror musical. The second scene is the actual shooting of his scene with Regan spewing green vomit to the music of one ridiculously funny original tune. Fun stuff which may be viewed on YouTube!

Kritzerland at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal presents Mostly Rodgers & Hammerstein (with a little Hart and a little Sondheim) The Songs of Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein II, Lorenz Hart & Stephen Sondheim. Hosted by Bruce Kimmel, the concert is set for tonight, November 4, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

Continuing its six year reign as the most popular and award-winning supper club of its kind in the greater Los Angeles area, dedicated to presenting the best of Broadway performers and nightclub artists dedicated to the Great American Songbook, Sterling's Upstairs had its Grand Opening Sunday, April 1st at The Federal Bar and Restaurant in North Hollywood's trendy NoHo Arts District. Sterling's presented Bruce Kimmel's Kritzerland production of Take Me Along: The Songs of Bob Merrill as its premiere offering. The six member cast starred musical theatre stars Julie Garnye and Juliana Hansen, Broadway's Melody Hollis and Kristofer McNeely, and musical theatre star Jeffrey Christopher Todd, with Special Guest... Broadway, film, TV, concert and recording star Lainie Kazan. Christy Crowel served as the evening's Musical Director, with Shelly Markham serving as Musical Director for Lainie Kazan. Bruce Kimmel conceived, produced and directed Take Me Along, with Adryan Russ on board as Associate Producer.

On Saturday, August 20th, East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, will kick off its 46th season with One Night Only: On Broadway.

EWP is proud to announce the addition of Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures) to the star-studded line-up. Leung can also be seen on TV in Glee.
