The New York Times kicked off its 11th annual Arts & Leisure Weekend yesterday, January 5. The Times's signature event is a four-day celebration of the arts featuring TimesTalks interviews between New York Times journalists and celebrated guests from film, media, music, television and theater. The talks run through Sunday, January 8.

Jason Aldean and Zac Brown Band lead the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS nominees with eight nominations each; Thompson Square earned seven nods; and The Band Perry and Taylor Swift each garnered six.
