Paper Mill Playhouse released a block of great seats today for its holiday musical, Elf, for the week following Christmas. Expanded availability includes performances from December 27, 2014 through January 4, 2015. Based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, Elf has a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Elf is directed by Eric Ankrim and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Elf runs eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater through January 4, 2015. Elf has been playing to many sold-out houses since November 26. Royal Family Productions' Emerging Artist Program will presents a workshop benefit performance of the first 40 minutes of Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt, A play with Musical Fantasies written and directed by Chris Henry, with music and lyrics by Summer Hyde and Daniel A. Weiss and choreography by Liz Ramos. Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt, will be presented at RFP's new Times Square location, The American Globe Theatre (145 W 46 Street) on Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt, and Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt. Jonathan Burke (A Christmas Story), Amy Hohn (November), Chris LeBeau, Kilty Reidy (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Cary Shields (Taboo, Rent) have joined the cast of UnsungMusicalsCo.'s (UMC) concert presentation of Caesar's Wife.

UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) will present a one-night-only concert of Caesar's Wife featuring the world premiere of an original score written circa 1969 by Tony Award nominee Carolyn Leigh (Peter Pan, Little Me, Gatsby) and Grammy Award nominee Lee Pockriss (Gatsby, Ernest in Love). Conceived and directed by Ben West (The Fig Leaves Are Falling, At Home Abroad), this new behind-the-scenes look at the unfinished musical will play Peter Norton Symphony Space on Monday, November 18 at 7:30 PM.
