This spring, the acclaimed literary series Selected Shorts: A Celebration of the Short Story returns to the Getty Center from March 26-27, 2011 with an unforgettable lineup of stories. Produced by New York's Symphony Space, this year's series, Delicious Fictions, features three performances by Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek), Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Denis O'Hare (True Blood), Christina Pickles (Friends), Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother), and other top actors reading luscious tales of food and passions, politics, mystery, and deep sea adventure. After each matinee performance and 45 minutes before Saturday's evening program, a perfectly paired wine and a scrumptious treat inspired by the series will be served.

Scott Siegel has written and will host the concert. Siegel is also the creator/writer and host of The Town Hall's acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series. Silverstein, President and CEO of the Manhattan-based real estate development and investment firm Silverstein Properties, Inc., and a long-time supporter of the New York Philharmonic; Emmy Award-winning stage and screen actor Alec Baldwin, the host of the Philharmonic's weekly radio program, The New York Philharmonic This Week; Lawrence D. Ackman, Chairman of Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group and a Philharmonic Patron; and Antonio Quintella, Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse's Americas region and a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group and Credit Suisse - the Philharmonic's Global Sponsor - have been elected tothe Board of Directors of the New York Philharmonic in the 2010-11 season. The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's®11th Season continues with The Broadway Musicals of 1932, a year that brought us famous shows by musical theater icons such as Kern and Hammerstein (Music in the Air), Irving Berlin, (Face the Music), Cole Porter (Gay Divorce) and Dietz and Schwarz (Flying Colors), among others. Produced by The Town Hall, The Broadway Musicals of 1932 was created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel. Siegel took the audience on a musical travelogue, exploring the history of the Great White Way and providing social anecdotes while showcasing the beloved hits and lesser-known gems from the golden age of Broadway. The show was directed by Scott Coulter and choreographed by Jeffry Denman, who both performed in the show as well. Ross Patterson was the musical director. FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the hit play by Mark St. Germain, opened on July 22, 2010 to rave reviews and immediately became a sellout sensation at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, 10 West 64th Street (at Central Park West). Celebrity sightings have been on the rise throughout the show's triumphant run. Just yesterday, March 20th, Alec Baldwin was seen in the audience enthusiastically leading the standing ovation at the curtain call. Others spotted at FREUD'S LAST SESSION since opening night include Barbara Walters, Marcia Gay Harden, Jerry Stiller, Patricia Heaton, John Cleese, T.R.
