Set in two worlds hundreds of years apart, this world premiere event written by acclaimed playwright Samantha Macher (To The New Girl, Warbride), is a brutal look at war in a dystopian future, and the haunting of firearm heiress Sarah Winchester. This is Banned is produced by the critically acclaimed A Theatre Connection and SkyPilot Theatre Company.

Baker pursues the clues with help from his partner Warren and super villain Supernova, but is he ready to uncover the truth? A truth that expose's the realities of life and death, and the ultimate consequences of trusting those who tell us to 'keep the faith.' Runs tonight, April 18-May 24, 2014, Fridays and Saturdays 8pm.

Moviegoers who are eagerly anticipating the December 13 release of the epic fantasy adventure 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,' will be able to secure their seats nearly a month in advance when tickets go on sale, online and in theaters in the U.S., on Thursday, November 21 at 9:00 AM ET. Fans will have the opportunity to see the movie first at midnight on Thursday, December 12.

Enter the glamorous world of 'Cinema Italiano' when DOMA Theatre Company presents Nine, the multiple Tony Award-winning musical with book by Arthur Kopit and music and lyrics by Maury Yeston that is based on Federico Fellini's semi-autobiographical film 8 ½. For NINE, DOMA reunites the creative team behind its recent hit production of Dreamgirls: Marco Gomez directs, musical direction is by Chris Raymond and choreography is by Rae Toledo. The six-week run opens July 12at the intimate MET Theatre in Hollywood.

James Carpenter to Lead ACT's A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Featuring a lively cast of dozens, delightful music, gorgeous costumes, and those deliciously spooky ghosts, the Bay Area's favorite holiday tradition returns with American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.)'s celebrated production of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. Now in its 36th year, this version of A Christmas Carol, adapted by Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff, stays true to the heart of Dickens's timeless story of redemption and brings a playful sensibility to his rich language.
