Batman announced today that Disney Theatrical, Jujamcyn Theaters, The Nederlander Organization and The Shubert Organization four of Broadway's leading organizations, have come together by contributing matching donations in support of Tony and Grammy Award nominee Andrew Lippa's new oratorio, I Am Harvey Milk, which will have its New York premiere on Monday, October 6 at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

Legendary civil rights activist and author David Mixner will premiere Oh Hell No!, an evening autobiographical storytelling, in a special one-night-only event on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Taking place at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), Oh Hell No! will benefit Point Foundation. The Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation (APACF) has announced that renowned pianist HERSHEY FELDER will be performing at the organization's Great Gatsby Gala Benefit Concert on November 1, 2014. Mr. Felder is a Canadian pianist, actor, playwright, composer, producer, and director, and will perform excerpts from his production of 'Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin' at the gala, which will open in November at the Geffen Playhouse. In addition to Mr. Felder, the gala will feature performers JULIE GARNYE, JENNIFER SHELTON, ERIC LEVAN and SEAN LE VAN. Headlining the Great Gatsby Gala Benefit Concert will be beloved Hollywood legend, DEBBIE REYNOLDS.

Batman announced today that a group of political, cultural, and human rights leaders have come together to form an “Honorary Committee” in support of Tony and Grammy Award nominee Andrew Lippa's new oratorio, I Am Harvey Milk, which will have its New York premiere on Monday, October 6 at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

Stage and screen star Alan Cumming, who is currently starring in Broadway's Cabaret, recently took a brief break from the show to campaign for a cause he has always been vocal about- Scottish independence. In today's New York Times, Cumming speaks out in his own op-ed about the issue. He writes:
