Hani Furstenberg to Succeed Gayle Rankin in CABARET on Broadway

Roundabout Theatre Company announces Hani Furstenberg will assume the role of "Fraulein Kost" on Monday, December 22. Original cast member Gayle Rankin will play her final performance as "Fraulein Kost" on Sunday, December 21. Cabaret is playing a limited engagement on Broadway through March 29, 2015 starring Alan Cumming as "Emcee" (through March 29) and Emma Stone as "Sally Bowles" (through February 1).

Curtain Call Theatre will present the first show of the main season, the musical comedy Reefer Madness from tonight, November 13th-23rd at Flagler Place in Downtown Stuart. An ever current musical, Reefer Madness is a musical parody of the 1936 filmReefer Madness: Tell Your Children which takes on the sensationalism that engulfed the country at the onslaught of the War of Drugs.

It was like opening night all over again, as the Roundabout Theatre Company welcomed Emma Stone in her Broadway debut as 'Sally Bowles' last night on Broadway and we were there to capture her first glamorous curtain call. She joins Joe Masteroff, John Kander and Fred Ebb's Tony-winning musical Cabaret starring Alan Cumming in his Tony Award-winning role as 'Emcee.' Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick, Managing Director Jeff Griffin, and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that its new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's ALLEGRO, directed by Tony Award-winner and CSC Associate Director John Doyle, now in previews at CSC (136 East 13th Street) will extend its limited engagement through Sunday, December 14. The official opening night of ALLEGRO is Wednesday, November 19. The cast of ALLEGRO features George Abud (Charlie Townsend), Alma Cuervo (Grandma Taylor), Elizabeth A. Erin Markey to Star in New Musical WAR LESBIAN at Dixon Place, 12/5-20

Dixon Place's new musical commission, WAR LESBIAN, will have its world premiere beginning December 5th. Featuring Erin Markey, this original musical, with book by Kristine Haruna Lee, music by Kathryn Hathaway and a cast of ten is directed by Jordan Fein in collaboration with harunalee.
