POLLYANNA opens at Artisan Center Theater on Today, May 10, 2018 and runs through Saturday, May 26, 2018. The 150 seat Second Stage theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:00pm on Todays and Fridays and 3:30pm on Saturdays. Reserved seating tickets are $22.00 for adults and $12.00 for children 12 and under.

Curious George to Open At Artisan Center Theater

Artisan Children's Theater proudly presents CURIOUS GEORGE: THE GOLDEN MEATBALL at its 148 seat Second Stage facility.  The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst.  The show runs Friday, April 6, 2018 through Saturday, April 28, 2018.  Performances are Fridays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 10:00am and 12:00pm. Additional performances April 17 and 24 at 10:00am and 12:00pm and April 10 and 27 at 12:00pm. Reserved seating tickets are $7.00 for children 12 and under and $11.00 for adults.  The box office number is 817-284-1200.

2018 Titles Announced For University Press Of Kentucky New Poetry And Prose Series

The University Press of Kentucky and Centre College are pleased to announce the latest titles to be selected for the University Press of Kentucky New Poetry & Prose Series-Mend: Poems by Kwoya Fagin Maples and Amreekiya by Lena Mahmoud. These two selections will be published in the fall and mark the third year for the series. They were selected from hundreds of submissions and represent some of the most innovative and powerful work in contemporary American writing. Previous books in the series include Make Way for Her: And Other Stories by Katie Cortese, A Girl's A Gun: Poems by Rachel Danielle Peterson, The Price of Scarlet: Poems by Brianna Noll, and Insurrections: Stories by Rion Amilcar Scott, which won the 2017 PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction.
