Cabrillo Music Theatre Announces GREASE Cast

The list of musical theatre artists given their start by Cabrillo Music Theatre welcomes a new gang of members, in the Cabrillo Music Theatre premiere of the classic rock 'n' roll musical, GREASE. Guided by Director Barry Pearl ('Doody' in the film version of 'Grease') and Choreographer Kelly Ward ('Putzie' in the movie) and Musical Director David O, GREASE provides a showcase for 16 talented young people in this classic rock n' roll musical. GREASE opens on Friday, April 12th, 2013, and plays until Sunday, April 21st, at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

Cabrillo Music Theatre celebrates its 20th Anniversary in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza by proudly announcing its 2013-2014 Season of shows, produced exclusively in the Kavli Theatre, at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The 2013-2014 Season, entitled 'Moving Forward, Looking Back,' is Cabrillo's most sizzling season ever. With a combination of classic and contemporary musicals, premieres and returning favorites, every show is gonna burn up the Kavli stage in a season that is just TOO DARN HOT! All of Cabrillo's productions are locally produced, auditioned and rehearsed in Southern California, and performed exclusively in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

According to preliminary rating's reports, the premiere of the 12th season of FOX's AMERICAN IDOL earned a 6.0, down 19% from last year's 7.4 among adults 18-49. The premiere rating is the lowest since the first season which aired in the summer.
