An agreement has just been reached between Rudinplay and the Harper Lee Estate regarding the new Aaron Sorkin penned stage adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird. The play will go forward as scheduled, opening at Broadway's Shubert Theatre in December.

Dolphin Theatre have put together a menu of simply delicious entertainment! The line up of performers alone is enough to get you securing your ticket and just skimming the cast list names such as Keith Marr, Bridie Dixon and Sam Iosefo catch my eye. I have reviewed them before and they are excellent.

Syracuse University Drama Announces 2018/2019 Season

The Syracuse University Department of Drama announced the six plays and musicals that will make up the 2018/2019 season. With an emphasis on contemporary work, the season addresses a variety of current issues and concerns as experienced from intimately personal points of view. The season celebrates stories of consequence, while at the same time investigating and challenging the process, implications and impact of storytelling itself.

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD to Go to Trial in New York in June

The Broadway-bound production of To Kill a Mockingbird has been in legal trouble for some time, but answers may be coming soon. Yesterday an Alabama court judge granted Scott Rudin's request for an expedited trial and agreed to move the adjudication to the Southern New York circuit. The two-week trial is scheduled to begin June 4.
