A revival of the hilarious Broadway self-parody, The Butter and Egg Man, is coming to Arts + Literature Laboratory on November 28. Don't miss this staged reading filled with behind-the-curtain mayhem and comedy classics.

"The Laramie Project," a documentary-style drama set in Wyoming that recounts the brutal murder of an openly gay college student and named by Time magazine as 'one of the 10 best plays of the year" will launch Northwestern University's 2014-15 Mainstage season Oct. 24-Nov. 2. Directed by Rives Collins, single tickets are $5 to $25.

The 34th Mainstage season of plays and musicals at the Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts at Northwestern University features award-winning directors and playwrights, acclaimed alumnae and faculty, groundbreaking plays and musicals and The Waa-Mu Show. The season reflects on the evolving definitions of family and community and invites audiences to embrace the circumstances that unite and strengthen us.

A vacant building on Howard Street, Evanston's first craft brewery and an 18-hole public golf course are sites for the three off-campus productions in the S.I.T.E. Festival, co-presented by Northwestern University's Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts -- formerly known as the Theatre and Interpretation Center. The plays will run through June 7.

Signal Ensemble Theatre announces their 2011-2012, 9th anniversary season, continuing to perform in their own space, a permanent, leased venue in Chicago's North Center/Lincoln Square district. Artistic Directors Ronan Mara and Joseph Stearns announced the next two productions in Signal Ensemble Theatre's 2008-2009, sixth anniversary season, 'Six Degrees of Separation' and 'The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie,' presenting a diverse slate which focuses on different individuals and their struggles with the pressures of society and the consequences of their choices. Both productions will be directed by Artistic Director Ronan Marra.
