BLOODY BLOODY Cast Recording Gets 9/21 Release

Ghostlight Records has confirmed a September 21st release date for their Original Cast Recording of The Public Theater's Production of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. The show will soon move to Broadway (The CD will be released to coincide with previews, which begin September 20 at The Bernard B Jacobs Theatre.)

A co-production with Center Theatre Group and in association with Les Freres Corbusier, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON is written and directed by Alex Timbers and features music and lyrics by Michael Friedman. BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON began previews on March 23 and was originally scheduled to close on April 25.

Hamingson) announced that the critically acclaimed rock musical BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON will play its 100th performance on Saturday, June 19 at 9:30 p.m. By the time the show closes at the end of June, it will be the second highest grossing show in The Public Theater's downtown history.

The cast of the new Off-Broadway hit, BLOOD BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON now playing at The Public, gathered on April 26 to record their cast album, which will be produced by Kurt Deutsch and Dean Sharenow on the Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records label. A release date for the album will be announced shortly.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart, Shirley Knight and Doris Roberts have signed on to lend their talents to Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash-hit Off Broadway show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which has been playing to sold-out houses at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street). Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart and Shirley Knight will join the April cast (March 31 - April 25), and Doris Roberts will join the cast beginning April 28 (through May 23).
