The Gold Coast International Film Festival began its seven-day run on Nov. 3rd. It will feature more than 40 short films, art films foreign films and appearances by filmmakers. In just its fourth year, the festival has grown so large and so popular that it will need theaters in Great Neck, Manhasset, Roslyn and Port Washington to accommodate all of the screenings and doings.

Actors Bill Connington, Juliette Bennett, and Anthony Haden-Guest, stars of the short film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE, attended 'Isabella Rossellini: An Evening of Screenings and Conversation' on May 9 at the NYIT Theater, directly across from Lincoln Center, on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It was a special pre-festival event of the Gold Coast International Film Festival. Center (GNAC) hosts its annual gala fundraiser, 'Stars of Broadway,' on Monday November 10, at The Tilles Center at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University. The event -- which includes a VIP cocktail reception, dinner and show will generate support for GNAC's flourishing arts programs that serve thousands of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens residents each month.
