Sony Pictures Buys Rights to Cannes Festival Frontrunner LEVIATHON


According to Variety, Sony Pictures Classics bought the rights to Andrey Zvyagintsev's Leviathon. The deal was negotiated Friday night at the Cannes Festival. The film has so far been one of the most applauded films at the festival and is a frontrunner for the Cannes Festival's Palme d'Or in tonight's ceremony.

Vakhtangov Brings UNCLE VANYA to the West End, Nov 5-10 - Hopes to Launch Regular Russian Season


Moscow-based company Vakhtangov Theatre, under the direction of Rimas Tuminas will come to the Noel Coward Theatre for the 5 - 10 November with their modern interpretation of Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA, which won Best Production at Russia's Golden Mask Awards, equivalent to the Emmy Awards.
