Dark Star Orchestra comes to the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester for New Year's Eve. Performances are set for December 30 and 31, 2023.

Following the success of Bobbie's Summer and Fall Series, Berkshire Theatre Group has announced the extension of Bobbie's Fall Series to include two more weekends in October. A fall inspired menu by KJ Nosh will be available for advance purchase and on site. Cider and donuts from Hilltop Orchards will be also available for purchase on site.

John Kadlecik is a singer, songwriter, and musician who can play most string instruments but is primarily known for being a guitar-slinging sideman to Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir in the band Furthur. Also an original co-founder of the group Dark Star Orchestra, John has been performing improvisationally-oriented shows regularly since the late 1980's and touring nationally for the last 20 years. His work also includes several studio releases of original music, and he is currently touring with his own group, The John Kadlecik Band.

About Shakedown Street: One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street, makes its home in and around the Rocky Mountain region of North America. Spawned from jam sessions at the Ancient Mariner bar in Manitou Springs, Colorado in 1987, Shakedown Street quickly grew in popularity, and garnered a legion of loyal fans who refer to themselves as 'Shakeheads'. In a few short years, throngs of 'Shakeheads' could be found on the highways and byways of the Rocky Mountains, making their way to another Shakedown Street show.

Berkshire Theatre Group welcomes The Airplane Family with Live Dead '69 to The Colonial Theatre on Friday, October 27 at 8pm. Tickets are $25 and $50.

Performing to critical acclaim celebrating their 20th anniversary year in 2017 and over 2700 shows, Dark Star Orchestra continues the Grateful Dead concert experience. Their shows are built off the Dead's extensive catalog and the talent of these seven fine musicians.
