The Alliance Theatre announces updates for its upcoming Kathy & Ken Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young programs. Performances of DO YOU LOVE THE DARK? will now run February 24 – March 13, 2022 in the Selig Family Black Box Theatre, and IN MY GRANNY'S GARDEN will be staged outdoors at the Woodruff Arts Center on Sifly Plaza March 31 – April 24, 2022.

The Alliance Theatre is pleased to announce its upcoming production of THE WIZARD OF OZ based on the beloved classic by L. Frank Baum.  This family-friendly, one-act production will come to life in the Rich Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center March 9 - April 14, 2019. 

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2017-2018 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, August 27, to patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party was generously hosted by Synchronicity Theatre, at 7:30pm, One Peachtree Pointe, 1545 Peachtree St. NE #102, Atlanta.  

Atlanta's nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre is pleased to present The Jungle Book, based on the beloved book by Rudyard Kipling, as part of its Alliance Family Series. Rosemary Newcott, the Sally G. Tomlinson Artistic Director of Theatre for Youth and Families, directs this moving, family-friendly, one-act play with music. During the Alliance's season-long renovation, The Jungle Book will be staged at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center, February 10 March 4, 2018.

CROSSING DELANCEY plays at Alliance Theatre through November 25. The play that inspired the hit film, Crossing Delancey is the story of Izzy, a beautiful, intelligent, single young woman, and her 80-year-old Bubbie, who is determined to see her granddaughter get married before she dies. Giving Cupid a nudge, this irascible granny hires a matchmaker and sets out to find her granddaughter the perfect mate. But will Sam, the neighborhood pickle man, be the kind of man Izzy has in mind?

Atlanta's nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre presents present Cinderella and Fella, a contemporary musical spin on the Cinderella fairytale. Rosemary Newcott, the Sally G. Tomlinson Artistic Director of Theatre for Youth and Families, directs this family friendly one-act production. Cinderella and Fella will run twice a day on Saturdays and Sundays,  now through April, 2017. Opening night is tonight, March 21, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

A new play about the event that rocked Atlanta from Peachtree Street to Auburn Avenue, The Temple Bombing recounts the 1958 attack on The Temple, Atlanta's oldest synagogue, which bolstered local and national support for dramatic social change. The Temple Bombing will have its world premiere on the Alliance Stage from February 22 - March 12, 2017. The Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition continues to spotlight the best emerging playwrights with a full production for the competition winner and staged readings for four competition finalists.  Too Heavy for your Pocket, the 13th competition winner, will have its world premiere on the Hertz Stage February 4 - 26, 2017.  Opening night is Thursday, February 9, 2017.
