Last night, 'Livin' On A Prairie,' a six episode series created by and starring Broadway's Pamela Bob (Hand to God, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder), screened to a sold-out house at Spring Studios as an official selection of the 2nd Tribeca TV Festival's Fall Pilot Season.The world premieres of five indie comedy pilots showcasing new voices in episodic storytelling ranged from conventions of adulthood, sex and…William Shakespeare. Calling all TV fans, the Tribeca TV Festival is back on the big screen bringing audiences together to discover new series and be the first to see favorite new season premieres. The 2nd Tribeca TV Festival will celebrate unforgettable storytellers who have shaped what 'peak TV' is today and introduce new voices in episodic storytelling. Over four days at Spring Studios in New York City, each event will feature a conversation with the stars and creators of favorite and soon-to-be-favorite shows. The 2018 Tribeca TV Festival will take place September 20-23. Tickets go on sale today, August 22, at 11am ET at tribecafilm.com/TVFestival.

Fab Marquee Productions in association with The Theater Series at The 14th Street Y presents the LGBT multicultural production of William Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth, adapted and directed by Tom Slot. MACBETH (OF THE OPPRESSED), playing a three-week limited engagement at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue, Manhattan). Performances continue through Saturday, October 24th. Opening Night is tonight, October 10th at 8 p.m.

In DARK WATER, the swampland of Louisiana is hit with the most massive oil spill known to history. Barnacle, an old sea turtle, fights against man's destruction, nature's wrath, and her enemies of the wild to save her children trapped in the spill. Poetry, allegory, music, puppetry and movement create this magical world as the animals of Louisiana face the ultimate threat to their lives.
