Horse Trade to Present Less Than Rent's 'LITTLE MAC,' 4/3-27

Horse Trade Theater Group will present Less Than Rent Theatre's (2013 Indie Theatre Now People of the Year) World Premiere of LITTLE MAC, LITTLE MAC, YOU'RE THE VERY MAN! written by Sean Patrick Monahan (Diva at the 2013 United Solo Festival) and James Presson (Words, Razors, and the Wounded Heart), April 3-27 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). The production will be directed by Charlie Polinger (Independents; 'Best Musical' 2013 FringeNYC) and feature Tom Sanchez (Independents, 'effortlessly hilarious'--The New York Times) in the title role with Sarah Daniels (Legally Blonde), Rachel B. Joyce (Desire! A Varsouviana), Cory Asinofsky (Puppet Hamlet), Ben Diserens, Jillian Rorrer, Joseph Flynn, and Alex Kramer among others. Arrangements and original music by Mark Levy of The Academy Blues Project. This production will mark Less Than Rent's tenth full production since its inception in 2010.

United Solo to Present Sean Patrick Monahan's DIVA, 10/7 & 24

United Solo proudly presents Less Than Rent Theatre's World Premiere of Sean Patrick Monahan's Diva on October 7th and October 23rd at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street). The production will be directed by James Presson (FringeNYC Award Winner for Directing in 2010). Designs will feature lights by Gary Slootskiy (Independents), choreography by Jennifer Delac (Beckett in Benghazi), and fight design by Cory Asinofsky (Richard 3).

The production will be directed by Jake Ahlquist (Fringe Excellence Award Winner '10) and star Sean Patrick Monahan (Charles Busch's Time Square Angel) and Emma March Barash (Stop the Virgins at St. Anne's Warehouse). The show will also feature Dean Acree (New York Dream at The Pearl), Cory Asinofsky (Puppet Hamlet), Amanda Brooklyn (HBO's Girls), Ben Diserens (the upcoming Wolf of Wall Street), Patrick Dooley, Jenna Grossano, Jackie Hansen, Jacob Presson, Tom Sanchez (Independents), and RJ Vaillancourt (Healthy Start by Gilad Cohen).
