New Hampshire Theatre Project announces their 2020 - 2021 Season filled with inquiries into the creative power of theatre-making. Programming will include virtual and in-person performances, workshops and conversations that delve into what is feared, hoped for, and ultimately done when the world turns upside down.

Juilliard Dance's 2014-15 Season Opens with 'New Dances: Edition 2014' in December
Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, opens its 2014-15 season in December with New Dances: Edition 2014 featuring four world premieres by innovative choreographers: Juilliard alumnus Austin McCormick (1st-Year Dancers); alumna Loni Landon (2nd-Year Dancers); Kate Weare (3rd-Year Dancers); and Larry Keigwin (4th-Year Dancers). Mr. Keigwin is returning to Juilliard where he previously choreographed and premiered, in December 2008, Runaway, a large-scale piece that riffs on the high fashion runway scene, and, in December 2009, Megalopolis.

The Dallas Opera Presents FIRST NIGHT to Kick Off 2014-2015 Season, 10/24
Opening Night of the Season holds the promise of something exciting, awe-inspiring and new! FIRST NIGHT presented by The Dallas Opera offers an evening of spectacular events to kick off the 2014-2015 “Heights of Passion” season with fun and flair. The festivities will begin on the lawn outside of the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. with a red carpet entrance featuring models in custom-designed gowns based on the themes of this season's operas. They continue with a sumptuous black-tie Pre-Performance Dinner at 6:00 p.m., co-chaired by Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger and catered by Wolfgang Puck in Sammons Park in a fabulous tent enhanced by décor inspired by the opera. The Dallas Opera's production of The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a charming comedy, begins at 8:00 p.m. in the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, as well as at Klyde Warren Park where last year's live opening night simulcast attracted thousands!

Terence Marling, Director of Hubbard Street 2 (HS2) and Hubbard Street Artistic Director Glenn Edgerton announce today the two winners of the 14th annual National Choreographic Competition (NCC), a program of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's Choreographic Development Initiative. 2013 winners Loni Landon of New York City and Alex Soares of São Paulo, Brazil, will each create an original work in fall 2013 while in residence at Chicago's Hubbard Street Dance Center. All across the state of Texas, high school theatre students are gearing up for the annual UIL One Act Play State Championship competition, annually held at the University of Texas in Austin. Just as these students are indefatigably preparing, so is Landry Gideon and his documentary film crew. They have been tirelessly documenting the Texas One Act Play process. Despite the hectic and crazy schedule, Landry Gideon took some time to talk to me about THE SHOW MUST GO ON, his One Act Play documentary, and being a filmmaker.
