Ballet West is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the premiere of Agnes de Mille's Rodeo, which was at the Metropolitan Opera House on October 16, 1942.

Starting February 5th Memoirs of Blacks in Ballet (MoBBallet.org) will launch four new orbits to its popular The Constellation Project: Mapping the Dark Stars of Ballet: Raven Wilkinson, the First Negro Classic Ballet Company, American Ballet Theatre's Negro Unit and Agne de Mille's The Four Marys, and Janet Collins. 

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced the faculty for its American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School that begins its full 36-week school year on September 14, 2015 and runs through June 11, 2016. The Center has added classes to accommodate the growing enrollment.

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. will present the New York debut of the Royal New Zealand Ballet, performing a mixed bill of three works, from February 12-16. Under the artistic direction of former New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theater principal dancer Ethan Stiefel, the company will present pieces by Benjamin Millepied, Javier De Frutos and Andrew Simmons. Pace Performing Arts presents 'Dance Out Loud 2013,' featuring the piece 'Dance in a Straight Line' by choreographer Mandy Moore from 'So You Think You Can Dance' April 26 and 27 at Pace's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts.
