Cone Man Running Productions presents the world premiere of 'End of the World,' a captivating play by Michael Weems.

The Warner Theatre will present its 8th Annual International Playwrights Festival held in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre October 11 and 12, 2019. The mission of the International Playwrights Festival is to recognize the work of emerging and established playwrights and to build a link between the playwrights, the theatre community and our audiences. The festival is a two-night celebration of new works by playwrights from across the country and around the globe. For the eighth year, 150 plays were accepted for consideration from across the United States and as far away as China and New Zealand. Eleven winners have been selected and one play will be invited to participate in the 2019 festival.

Ixion Ensemble announces its final show of the 2018-2019 season, Hope, a collection of eight one-act plays. Hope will be performed at the Robin Theatre, 1105 S. Continuing with its mission to support Latinx playwrights, the 50 Playwrights Project (50PP) has released its third annual list of recommended unproduced Latinx plays. Dubbed The 50PP List, it is comprised of eight production-ready plays by Latinx playwrights.

Boiling Point Players has selected its cast for the 2019 season. Audiences can expect to see a few familiar faces from past BPP productions as well as some fresh talent. The 2019 season begins January 31, 2019 with "A New World Cabaret" and closes with double feature one-acts in April.
