Syracuse Stage announced that it will launch its year-long 50th anniversary celebration at the Golden Gala on April 14 in the Grand Ballroom at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown.

First Folio Theatre is opening their final season by returning to the very first adventure of Bertie and Jeeves: JEEVES INTERVENES, by Margaret Raether, directed by Michael Goldberg. Returning for their sixth foray into the famous duo are Jim McCance as the perfect butler Jeeves and Christian Gray as the befuddled but ever optimistic Bertie Wooster.

As theater continues to recover from the pandemic interruption, First Folio Theatre has announced its 2022-2023 season. The final season begins with a classic farce: JEEVES INTERVENES by Margaret Raether based on the works of P.G. Wodehouse, which runs November 5 through December 4, 2022.

In its continuing mission to help address the absence of live theater performances, First Folio Theatre will offer a streaming video recording of MADMEN & PRISONERS: TWO TALES BY POE, adapted for the stage by David Rice and directed by Skyler Schrempp.

 As a way to help address the absence of live theater performances, First Folio Theatre will offer a streaming video recording of the award-winning Cymbeline: A Folk Tale with Music, directed by Michael Goldberg. Adapted from Shakespeare's romance by David Rice with original music and lyrics by Michael Keefe and David Rice, this production was recorded live during a 2013 performance on First Folio's outdoor stage. The show will be streaming on the Vimeo video service June 3 a?" 14. With an original bluegrass/gospel score played by the cast members themselves, Cymbeline is just the tonic folks need in these difficult times.

Showtime Documentary Films today revealed the official poster and trailer for SHANGRI-LA and announced the four-part docu-series, a collaboration from Academy Award® and Emmy® winner Morgan Neville (Won't You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom), legendary music producer Rick Rubin, and director Jeff Malmberg (Marwencol) will premiere on Friday, July 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. While new episodes ofSHANGRI-LA will be released on SHOWTIME linear channels weekly, all four will be available immediately on July 12 for on-demand streaming, via the SHOWTIME and SHOWTIME ANYTIME apps and partnering on-demand platforms. With Rubin's iconic studio in Malibu as the backdrop, SHANGRI-LAis a four-part docu-series that focuses on creative conversation and the emotional side of music-making. Neville directed the first two episodes of the series, and the final two are directed by Malmberg.

Showtime Documentary Films today announced the latest project from Academy Award® and Grammy® winner Morgan Neville (Won't You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom): SHANGRI-LA (wt), a docu-series about legendary music producer Rick Rubin that will air on SHOWTIME later this year. A work-in-progress will screen at SXSW in Austin in March. With Rubin's infamous studio in Malibu as the backdrop, SHANGRI-LA pulls back the veil on Rubin and his work with musicians across every genre.
