Following dedicated fans of Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical successfully uncovering the missing pieces of MI5 secretary Hester May Murray Leggatt's life, a plaque in her honour is set to be unveiled at the Fortune Theatre on 11 December, six months after the show’s West End premiere.

In 1943, MI5 secretary Hester Leggatt played a vital role in an operation to fool the Nazis, by writing fake love letters to be found on a corpse. Hester's own story remained a mystery until Operation Mincemeat inspired fans, known as mincefluencers, to #FindHester. Erin Edwards wrote to MI5, asking for confirmation that Hester had worked in the wartime security services. Here she tells BroadwayWorld about her own research and eventually receiving written confirmation from MI5 about Hester.

For the first time ever, the professional skaters who appear in ITV's Dancing on Ice will star in their own ice skating show, THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE, and will be demonstrating their breath-taking skills on a national tour. The venues are some of the biggest ice skating arenas in the country, with the biggest, the National Ice Centre in Nottingham, kicking off the tour today, 27 April. The tour will end in Dundee on 2 June.
