Jimbo Pestano is Chicago-based actor and performer. Jimbo identifies as genderqueer and pronouns include they/them/their. They have worked with About Face Youth Theatre, The Route 66 Theatre Company, and The National New Play Network. They have worked with AFYT for 5 years and credits include Checking Boxes, 15 Breaths (Lil), Ad Hoc [Home], Brave Like Them (Coe), and Scary Stories to Save Your Life. As well as being onstage with AFYT, they also serve on the Youth Task Force. Outside of theatre, Jimbo has been a drag performer for 5 years, having worked with Salonathon and Random Acts Chicago's #SafeSpace.

Savanna Rae Joins Random Acts; Celebrate With DAUGHTERS OF IRE


Random Acts has announced Savanna Rae as the company's newest artistic associate. Rae joins the team after appearing in The Bone House, The Laramie Project and columbinus with the company. To celebrate the occasion, Random Acts presents her solo play DAUGHTERS OF IRE for one-night only on Sunday, August 25 at The Crowd Theatre (3935 N. Broadway, Chicago).

The fundraiser, which will be held at Mrs. Murphy and Son's Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln) asks for a $5 Suggested Donation, with proceeds benefiting The Brady Campaign and Random Acts' upcoming production of columbinus.
