Jimbo Pestano And Christian Siebert Named Random Acts Artistic Associates Image

Random Acts has announced Jimbo Pestano and Christian Siebert as the company's newest Artistic Associates.

Jimbo joins the company after appearing in the 20th Anniversary reading of THE LARAMIE PROJECT, directed by Jason Gerace in December 2018. Christian originated the role of Barb in STRANGEST THINGS! THE MUSICAL before recently appearing in Mercury Theater's long-running revival of AVENUE Q.

With the addition of these artists, the company of Random acts includes Bridget Adams-King, Company Manager Alexandra Alontaga, Ali Bailey, Lucy Chmielewski, Colleen DeRosa, Mariah Furlow, Rasell Holt, Nora Lise Ulrey, Ben F. Locke, Ayssette Muñoz, Jimbo Pestano, Artistic Director Bryan Renaud, Tommy Rivera-Vega, Becca Russo, Christian Siebert, and Shannon Leigh Webber.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Jimbo Pestano is a Chicago based actor and drag artist known as Angelíca Grace. Jimbo identifies as genderqueer and pronouns include they/them/their. They have worked with About Face Youth Theatre (AFYT), Route 66, National New Play Network, Eclectic Theatre Co., The Gift Theatre, Asian Improv Arts Midwest, and Jedlicka Performing Arts. Jimbo has been an ensemble member at AFYT for 5 years and serves on the Youth Task Force. Through their work on the Youth Task Force, they co-created KINSHIP, an all ages queer variety show. Jimbo is ecstatic to now be an Artistic Associate at Random Acts, having performed numerous times at #SafeSpace and in the 20th anniversary staged reading of The Laramie Project. In drag, they've performed with Salonathon, Trains Magazine, Wild Atlas Theatre Co., and Auntie's Treasures. Favorite past credits include RENT (Angel), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck), and Shrek: The Musical (Donkey). Follow them on Instagram @jimbopestano!

Christian Siebert's credits include the long-running revival of Avenue Q (Mercury Theater), Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly Children's Theater of Madison), The Polar Express (Rail Events, Inc. & Warner Bros. Entertainment), Jack and the Beanstalk (Gorilla Tango), The Jungle Book (Missoula Children's Theatre), and several productions at Viterbo University, where he earned his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre.
