The International Center of Photography (ICP), the world's leading institution dedicated to photography and visual culture, today announced the 2019 honorees of its annual Infinity Awards, the leading honor for excellence in the field. The 35th annual ICP Infinity Awards will be held on the evening of Tuesday, April 2 at Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 West 54th Street, New York City). The event is ICP's largest fundraiser and benefits its education and exhibition programs.

Tina Brown, Diane von Furstenberg and Pamela Thomas-Graham celebrated Broadway director Stephen Daldry at Barbetta Restaurant (321 West 46th Street) today, May 28th. Daldry has just been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Direction in a Play for SKYLIGHT, starring Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan. An important display of portraits by Snowdon from the 1950s to the 1990s has opened at the National Portrait Gallery, London, it was announced today, Friday 26 September, 2014. The display includes portraits from his recently announced gift, one of the largest in its history, of 130 original prints to the gallery, of some of his most iconic photographs. Highlights include from 1978 actor Terence Stamp dramatically clothed up to his neck in a cape and Dame Maggie Smith photographed with a cigarette and script in hand rehearsing the title role in Ibsen's Hedda Gabler for Ingmar Bergman in 1970.

On the evening of Monday, May 10, 2010, the International Center of Photography will honor the nine recipients of the 26th Annual Infinity Awards, this country's leading awards for excellence in the field of photography, at a gala event at Chelsea Piers, Pier Sixty, New York City. Each year, ICP takes this opportunity to acknowledge some of those image-makers whose work has allowed us to see the world anew, and that enables us to better grasp the richness and diversity of our common humanity.

Julie & Julia is the new comedy-drama, written and directed by Nora Ephron, depicting events in the life of famed chef Julia Child. Ephron's screenplay is adapted from two books: My Life in France, Child's autobiography, written with Alex Prud'homme, and a memoir by Julie Powell. The film had a New York City premiere on Wednesday, July 30th, 2009 at the Ziegfeld Theatre. BroadwayWorld.com cameras were there as the stars arrived!

The American Institute for Stuttering (AIS) will host its third annual 'Freeing Voices, Changing Lives' benefit gala on Monday, June 8th. The evening will be hosted by AIS friend and actor, Sam Waterston, star of TV's Law and Order. The evening will honor Joe Moglia, Chairman of TD Ameritrade and British actress, Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada, Sunshine Cleaning) both who have personally dealt with stuttering. Susan Glessner and Seth H. Waugh, CEO, Deutsche Bank Americas are serving as Co-Chairs for the event. The reception will be followed by dinner and a moving 'Freeing Voices, Changing Lives' Leadership Award presentation.
