He is best known for his "Testaments" and his "Ballade des Pendus". Born in poverty in Paris in 1431, Francois Villon was known to be a person of unrestricting life and even had a reckless way of living common among the wilder youth of the University of Paris. Thus, playwright and author Lisa Monde has woven a historical drama that focuses on the life of this remarkable man in her play titled "I Know All Save Myself Alone."
