Sometimes the perils of being in a popular alt-rock band comes with its share of misfortune. For Illinois rock group REAL FRIENDS, falling victim to a homicidal maniac is one such fate. Premiering today on FLOOD Magazine, their new video for 'Me First' from their third studio album Composure, depicts just that. 'Have you ever wanted to see our heads cut off,' asks bassist Kyle Fasel. 'Well, look no further.'

llinois rock-group REAL FRIENDS have released their newest single 'Unconditional Love' off of their upcoming third studio album Composure, set to release on July 13 through Fearless Records. The catchy single, which further showcases their sound change, can be checked out here. Pre-orders for Composure are available here. The band is currently on a headlining run on the Vans Warped Tour to help promote the release. 

Over the weekend, Illinois rock-group REAL FRIENDS announced that their third studio album Composure is set to release on July 13 through Fearless Records. This past Friday, June 15, a select group of Chicago fans listened to the album in full after attending surprise listening parties at Sip Of Hope, Evolution Music and Rowboat Creative. In advance of their headlining run on the final Vans Warped Tour, Illinois rock-group REAL FRIENDS have released their latest single “From The Outside”. Produced by Mike Green, “From The Outside” explores Real Friends' frontman, Dan Lambton, struggling to decide right from wrong, and not being able to communicate those feelings to friends and family. The song is an epic follow-up to their previous single “Get By”, released late last year. 'From The Outside' can be seen HERE!
